Jacob and Michaela started Ahava as a small Bible study in 2016 incorporating worship, prayer, and gifts of the Spirit that quickly developed into a house church. Since then, they have continued to lead Ahava as it has grown into several arms of ministry, including SOZO, which Michaela leads.
They have been married since 2018 and have two daughters.
Matt and Leslie have been at Ahava since 2017 and have grown to be a father and mother of our house, supporting and serving in various ways. Matt also helps lead our mens group and Mens SOZOs.

Thomas and Eileen have been attending Ahava since 2017 and serve in several capacities, including being secretary and leading our Youth Ministry. Thomas is also a highschool teacher and has been teaching for 9 years.

Dehn is a mother of 2 and began attending Ahava in 2019. She now serves as our Children’s Ministry Director and oversees our Elementary & Preschool Classrooms. Even when she’s not serving, she’s always playing with children and putting a smile on their face! Her passion is for children to learn about Jesus and who they are in Him!
Michaela began training in Bethel SOZO in 2017 after attending a Basic Training Conference. She continued her education by attending an Advanced Training Conference and being mentored by local SOZO leaders. She loves seeing people experience the unfailing love of God and walk into the freedom and healing that He has for them – body, soul, and spirit!
Daniel has been attending Ahava since 2020 & began leading our hospitality team in 2023, and recently married his lovely wife Anna in October of 2023. He loves equipping the hospitality team members to spread the love of God to each and every person who walks through our doors!
Nevaeh began attending Ahava in 2022 as a college student from Milledgeville. She now lives in Macon and has been serving as our Connections Coordinator and Administrative Assistant since January 2024. She is passionate about seeing the Kingdom of Heaven on earth and helping the Church in whatever way is needed to see that happen!
Isaac and Rebecca have been married since 2015 and attending Ahava since 2024, though their connection with many brothers and sisters in the Ahava family reaches back to 2014. With a deep love for God’s presence, they long to lead others into authentic, Spirit-filled worship that transforms hearts and draws people closer to Jesus. Their passion is to see worship not only sung, but lived, overflowing into every part of life.
